John Hill – the grandson of Sunspel’s founder – not only introduced the boxer short to Britain, he also perfected its design: replacing the uncomfortable central seam with a back panel and feldlocking all remaining seams to eliminate rough edges. With just a few minor tweaks here and there, we have made our luxury boxer shorts to these original specifications ever since.
