Inspired by the 1960s British Public Health Service “Poor Boy” spectacles, The ZEV is named after Great-Grandfather Sol’s cousin, Zeyfer “Zev” Braunstein — a neighborhood lawyer known for wearing these clever and sophisticated frames (complete with a British accent) whenever he needed to put his best face forward while helping locals protect their reputation and get out of trouble in style.
